The Wisconsin Watercolor Society Spring 2015 Exhibition

The Fanny Garver Gallery is proud to host The Wisconsin Watercolor Society Spring Exhibition, March 6 thru April 18, 2015. Opening reception on Friday March 6, 6-8pm.

The Wisconsin Watercolor Society has 2 member exhibitions each year, one in the fall of the year and one in the spring. Wisconsin Watercolor Society was founded in 1952 by a group of Wisconsin artists led by Marion Bode. The Wisconsin Watercolor Society was the first Wisconsin Art Organization to be devoted exclusively to watercolor painting. Its purpose then as now has always been to demonstrate and exhibit meaningful development in the medium of watercolor and to serve as a catalyst for those genuinely interested in watercolor.

Wisconsin Watercolor Society typically has two member exhibitions per year, one in the fall and one in the spring of the year in galleries in southeast Wisconsin to Madison and north through Cedarburg to Green Bay.
